Some stories choose their authors.
For me, that moment came in Mr. Grigsby’s 9th-grade Washington State History class.
As we studied the early, turbulent history of the Washington Territory, the tragic tale of Isaac Ebey unfolded.
It wasn’t just a historical footnote—it felt like the perfect setting for a supernatural or horror story, a narrative of fate and violence so profound it demanded to be written.
These books fulfill a long-held promise: to give that dark history the reimagining it deserves.
