Nicole Anstedt is an author and mythologist whose work explores the profound connections between legend, place, and the unseen. She is the creator of The Witch of Whidbey series, a collection of stories born from the bones of Whidbey Island, Washington.
A graduate of Fairhaven College, Nicole grew up hearing the island’s few, fiercely guarded legends—from the mysterious lights at the San de Fuca schoolhouse to the restless spirit said to wander the historic Ferry House at Ebey’s Landing. Her writing weaves these whispers into living folklore, drawn from the shifting tides where memory, myth, and sea meet.
Keeping the island’s secrets close, Nicole is never far from the coast, or a good ghost story.
